Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-04-15

These Terms govern your purchase and use of digital products from Plumbnote (the "Shop"), operated by Nikos(the "Seller"), a private individual resident in Slovakia. By purchasing or downloading any product, you agree to these Terms.

Plain-English summary up front: you're buying digital tools from one person, not a faceless company. You get to use them for your own business. You don't get to resell them. If something is broken or not what you expected, email me and I'll fix it or refund you.

1. Who we are

2. What you're buying

You are buying a licence to usea digital product (a "Tool"). You are NOT buying ownership of the underlying intellectual property. Each Tool is delivered as one or more downloadable files.

Your licence grants you the right to

Your licence does NOT grant you the right to

3. Delivery

Digital products are delivered automatically after purchase via the payment platform (Gumroad or otherwise). You'll receive an email with a download link. If the download link fails, email nikos@plumbnote.comand I'll send the files directly within 24 hours.

4. Refund policy

See Refund Policy for full details.

Short version: 30-day no-questions-asked refundon every product. Email me, I'll process the refund, you keep the files. After 7 days refunds are case-by-case โ€” if you ask nicely, I'll still usually say yes.

5. Warranty & disclaimer

The Tools are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. They're writing tools โ€” they don't make business decisions for you, they don't guarantee outcomes, and the outputs they help generate still need your judgment before you send them to customers or publish them.

In particular, for AI-prompt-based Tools:

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Slovak and EU law, the Seller's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Tools is limited to the amount you paid for the Tool in question (typically โ‚ฌ15-โ‚ฌ79).

I am not liable for:

7. Customer conduct

By purchasing, you agree that you will NOT:

If you do any of the above, I may revoke your licence without a refund.

8. Updates to the Tools

I may update a Tool after you buy it (to fix bugs, add clarity, or add new prompts). Updated versions are available to you for free โ€” you'll get an email when there's an update available.

I may also discontinue a Tool (stop selling it to new customers). You keep your licence and your downloaded files.

9. Privacy

See Privacy Policy. Short version: I collect your email when you buy, so Gumroad can send you the product and I can email you about updates. I don't sell, rent, or share your email with anyone. No marketing automation beyond product-update emails.

10. Changes to these Terms

I may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes (anything that affects your rights) will be announced via email to customers.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Slovakia. Any dispute that can't be resolved by direct conversation will be handled by the courts of Bratislava. As a consumer buying digital goods in the EU, you also retain all mandatory rights under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and Slovak Consumer Protection Act No. 250/2007.

EU consumers: you have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days under Article 9 of the EU Consumer Rights Directive โ€” however, for digital content delivered immediately and not on a tangible medium, you waive this right when you start the download (Article 16(m)). This is standard for digital product sales and is explained at checkout on Gumroad.

Nothing in these Terms overrides your statutory consumer rights in your home jurisdiction.

12. Contact

For any question, complaint, or refund request, email:

nikos@plumbnote.com โ€” I reply personally, usually within a few hours.

For dispute resolution, you can also contact the Slovak Slovenska obchodna inspekcia (SOI) as an alternative dispute resolution body, or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

These Terms are drafted in plain English and are not a substitute for legal advice in your jurisdiction. If you need a binding legal document tailored to your situation, consult a lawyer.
