The problem

The Štítnik Water Castle — a 14th-century (1432) water castle under active reconstruction — needed a way to turn a plain walk-through into an experience families would travel for, in a region where visitors speak Slovak, Hungarian and English.

What we built

A storybook adventure app in Flutter (one codebase for iOS, Android and Web) where kids follow a friendly ghost through ten QR-code stations, play nine mini-games and collect passport stamps. Fully offline-first for thick castle walls, in three languages — with a companion ElevenLabs TTS pipeline that produced 80+ narrated audio clips in Slovak, English and Hungarian.

The result

The QR stations turned a roughly 20-minute castle walk-through into a roughly 60-minute family experience — changing dwell time, repeat visits and social posts around the castle.
